Re: K&N Filter
I put a standard cone on mine. I need to change it with some pipping, but I noticed a litttle bit more power. The best bet is to buy an intake. the PRM is a lil pricey but well worth it. everyone tht has one will tell you.

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 M...

Re: changing dash light color
Its not that difficult. All you do is remove the dash area around the cluster, remove the cluster put the lights in, then put it all back together.
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
<A HREF="http://www.barrykclark.com" T...

Re: Clicking noise
there is a metal wire spring that is shaped like a "W" that is used to press apart the break pads in the caliper. If that metal is rubbing the caliper it will click. I just bent mine away from my caliper a little.

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 M...

Re: my car almost stalls sometimes at idle!!
Well, My car was doing the SAME thing and it was dirty injectors. I know you say your dad is a mechanic, but if he doesnt look at them, he really doesnt know. If he is saying the symptoms dont sound like dirty injectors, then why was mine doing the same and it was?
Stalling at idle could be a numb...

Re: Knocking noise under hard acceleration........
My only suggestion is having your motor checked out. if it sounds like its internal, could be mechanical. Pop the hood, and rev the motor, see where the noise comes from, and what area.
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
<A HREF=&q...

Re: spongy brakes and clutch problems
You know you need a new clucth when your transmission is slipping in or when shifting gears. If you bought an RS.. 4cl.. they have a base of 105hp. Thats not alot.

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
<A HREF="http://www.barr...
