Re: I just found this
Looks like a decent kit, I would be willing to pay an extra $500 for a FMIC, all the necessary mounting brackets, and pre-bent IC piping.

Re: Finally an intake for the i4's
Just from looking at the design, it looks like it was designed specifically for 4 banger MX-3s and would probably work well. I have customized a few protege intakes to fit MX-3s and just by looking at the e-bay one I can tell the fat tube on the shorter elbow piece obviously goes to the air idle con...

Re: Think twice about Coke.....
I think that a can of coke has about 100 calories, consideing it isn't tough to burn 1000 calories on an hour run or an hour of soccer or an hour of biking, drinking a coke isn't going to make you fat but it will improve your performance. Also, the reason olympic athletes don't use caffine is becaus...

Re: Think twice about Coke.....
Hmm...sounds like another strong acid I know of: stomach acid. Drinking coke isn't bad for you. Like anything else it is fine if taken in moderation. Plus, it has been scientifically proven that if you drink a coke (or other caffinated beverage)before going for a run or any other type of aerobic act...

Re: Are Hummers really safe?
Those hummers are the biggest pieces of crap. They are gas-guzzling minivans with oversize tires. If you want to go off road get an FJ-40 Landcruiser, if you want a lot of room get a minivan, if you want to look like a yuppie (or a rapper) who doesn't know a crank case from a transfer case buy an H2!

Re: computer upgrade
Dancake is right, if I were you I'd go ahead and buy a new motherboard/processer combo. You can get an AMD athalon XP 2Ghz and motherboard for under $100. You probably also want to buy a new case and power supply for about $50. If you don't want to put the thing together bring it to a local computer...

WTB seats, spoiler, fender...
I'm looking for a blaze red drivers side fender, a spoiler preferably blaze red and a black rear seat back. If you are in Arizona I am willing to pick it up.

Re: Hurricane Isabel...Anyone in the middle of it?
My parents live outside of Washington DC and they said that the water is out and is going to be out for 3 days. Glad I don't live there any more, there are going to be some smelly people running around!

Re: Exhaust and Intakes
I would leave your cat on for sure, it creates very little restriction but if you were to take it off it would cause a lot of unessecary pollution plus if they check emmissions where you are you will never pass. Also, go with 2in diameter piping, anything bigger and you will lose a lot of bottom end...

Re: riaa sueing people
I think the RIAA has written their own death warrant. By suing all of these downloaders they are creating an unbeleivable amount of resentment, nothing pisses Americans off more than taking their money. I doubt they will ever be able to recover from the public relations disaster they have brought up...

Re: Couple question for the experts...
I was actually planning on using the deck's amplifier to run the all the speakers except for the sub. <p>Once I get the amplifier what is the best way to splice the rear speaker wire to run to the amp? Should I try to solder it or just use those twist-on wire connectors? Maybe there is a better way ...

Re: Couple question for the experts...
I already have that figured out. I am going to have an alarm installed and luckily I have a clear view of where my car is parked from my bedroom window. If someone tries to break in and my alarm goes off I can yell at them to stop, if that doesn't work they will have a lot of hot lead flying over th...
