Re: creating your own Cold Air....?
The '94 and later RSs don't need an adapter plate. 3" PVC pipe will fit snugly over the rubber gasket that originally went into the large hole on the top of the stock air box. I made an intake out of PVC pipe and it worked well but I was afraid it would suck up water and I had a difficult time ...

Re: To those who keep saying use the search function
I know that there are hundreds of people on this board who aren't newbies but they aren't one of the old dogs either, they are somewhere in between, myself included. These are the people who should be answering basic questions like how do I get an intake, what engines can be swapped, how much horsep...

Re: Any mountain bikers out there?
Dude, best thing to do is go to a bike shop and get some Mr. Tuffy tire strips, they are like $30 for both wheels. Unfortunately, they add a little rotating mass but are much better than getting flats every ride. Good Luck!

Any mountain bikers out there?
I'm sure there must be some mountain bikers out there who are also into MX-3s. If so post what kind of bike(s) you have and what type of riding you do. <P>As for me:<BR>'02 Gary Fisher Big Sur (XC riding/racing)<BR>'00 Santa Cruz Heckler X (Freeride/urban assault)<BR>'95 GT Zaskar (Campus beater/bac...

Re: Balancing and Blueprinting question
As far as I know, blueprinting means measuring and reducing tolerences between various parts of the engine such as pistons and valve train. I don't think that balancing and blueprinting in and of itself will give large horesepower gains, but will make your engine more durable and responsive to other...

Yeah, MX-3s don't exactly pull girls, but every girl who has ever been in my car has complimented it, usually with the word "cute", I don't know if that is good or bad

Also try <A HREF="http://www.mazdamotorsports.com," TARGET=_blank>www.mazdamotorsports.com,</A> they have a pretty decent catalog with quite a few MX-3 parts. I just found it the other day, I think it is pretty new.

Re: Mazda B2600 4x4, Good Truck or Bad Idea
I don't get it sureshiit, are your statements about the crashworthiness of Ford trucks based on acutal data or just your "professional" opinion? I was able to find some data at <A HREF="http://www.crashtest.com" TARGET=_blank>www.crashtest.com</A> that clearly proves that '90's m...

In N' Out, best burgers and fries anywhere, even better that real restuarants. Its worth making the trip out to Arizona or California just for the burgers. Plus on Friday and Saturday nights a lot of nice imports can be seen there.

Re: Mazda B2600 4x4, Good Truck or Bad Idea
Dude you don't know what you are talking about, Ford Rangers and hence Mazda B-series are consistently rated as the best compact trucks by most car magazines as well as consumer reports beating out even Toyota. My dad has a '96 B4000 with 60,000 mi on it and it hasn't had one single problem. As far ...

Your problem is most likely a vaccuum leak. Are you sure that the vaccuum hose that you rerouted to behind the MAF is secure and not leaking? If it is okay, make sure that all of the other vaccuum lines are securely in place, there is a handy vaccuum line diagram on the underside of your hood that w...

I would be careful about having all show and no go, if you get a body kit, wing, lowering springs and rims everyone and their brother is going to want to race you at stoplights which can be extremely annoying. I would start by getting your windows tinted, and getting a nice exhaust with a stainless ...

Re: Don't Let This Happen to You!!!
Well, I talked to my insurance company today and they are going to pay to fix the dash and give me $810 for my system, they added up the total value of the CDs which was about $500 and used that pay the deductable, I was surprised, my insurance company was really cool. I think I am going to put the ...
