Compustar two-way alarm/starters have this feature. The proximity feature, where the car will be disarmed/unlocked when you get near it.
Then you just need to do some creative wiring for a push button, and solve the steering wheel lock - and your good to go!!!!

Re: My v4 isnt working after an engine swap
simple things to check.
1. everything is plugged in
2. all grounds are reconnected (you may still get a spark but it might not be strong enough to turn over without the grounds)
3. are the fuel injectors working?

Re: Pioneer crap amps?
sounds like you overheated your amp and it fried. Some amps can be bridged others cannot.
Try the subs on another amplifer, to see if they are ok.

Re: Viper 700 Alarm - Code Pulling?
code pulling? hmm, car audio shops that deal with viper have a scanner to program the units. But I've never heard of pulling a code on one......... is it a Viper 700 ESP alarm, or is it a 700 HF? if you just want to see if the alarm works, have you tried just programming the new remote? 1. Open Door...

your old amp was 150 watts, but was that on a single channel? if you hook up two subs to a single channel amp you could make the full 150 watts of the amp. is the new amp a 300 watt 2ch amp? if you hook up two subs one on each channel you will only get like 50watts a sub - and would be weak!!!! make...

[FS] OEM used springs from a '92 mx-3 1.6L
I was looking through my garage and found a set of used springs.
I was thinking $30 for the set. Would need to pick up, or meet somewhere.
live around Oshawa, ontario area.

Re: weird things happening after bp swap need help!!
note: a BP05 engine will run like balls with the B6 ECU, get a BP ecu at least!!!!! the B6 harness will work without any splicing, plug and play (you just won't have VICS).

Re: weird things happening after bp swap need help!!
did you label every plug before you removed the engine? I would check and make sure the temp sensor on the intake (should be on the drivers side of the head), is plugged in. Make sure you have the V.I.C.S. solenoid connected. If you are using the B6 harness you will have to run one wire to the BP ec...

3rd pic -> a temperature sensor (on the sohc it's on the top of the intake manifold plenom, on the DOHC BP it's on the drivers side)

Re: mxr wiring harness
If you are getting static during acceleration or something, it might be a crappy ground wire. I've heard of that problem before. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. I with this guy. Make sure there is a ground wire on the other side of the plug. When I had my car there was no ground wir...
