ok guys here i go i have a 93 RS soch and i swaped in a bpt 1.8 doch and i also have the GTX ECU BP26 do i have to change anything to my wiring Harness because my stock ecu and teh GTX ecu is exactly the same thing please help me thanks if i do have to change my wiring (what harness to i need etc)

you have a 4 cyl you shouldnt go with the ze its expensive and hard to install

got with the bpt since its bolt on

it cost me 3800$CA for the motor and installation
GTX ecu 220$US

its not a good idea i had the same problem with my car running to rich (black smoke) and my KM/L was very bad 280 KM city i got the GTX ECU bp26 for 220$ i didnt change my wiring harness because i had the RS 93 soch that and i already have obd1 so it was a plug and play try to find the GTX ECU bp26 ...

you can reprogram you stock ECU(not recommanded) i had the stock ECU from my 1.6 93 RS SOCH. you have soch with obd1 you dont have to get the harness i got the 93 soch

and my gtx bp26 seems to work great

you have 3 srews on top and 2 behind the rubber at the base of the steering wheel you have a a 93 so you have a cable hooked at the back that doesnt let you pull the think out you need to put you arm under the dash and unclip that cable thats right in the middle the hard part is to put it back after...

i just pluged in my GTX ECU and the car runs great

ok so i wont have to do nothing to my wiring just plug and go

i installed the ECU today and the car runs great
its smoother and my idll is at arround 850 it was at 1100 with my stock ECU
