how do i swap the BP26 ECU???

I now have the bpt and the Jspec BP26 ecu...my wiring is obd2 since my mx3 is a 1994 RS; I will need some parts like a protege GT airflow meter ....<p>Anybody have any experience in switching to a protege ECU or a bp26 ( jspec ecu) like mine using the obd2 wiring of a 94 mx3 RS???<p>I know some wires will have to be cut since the obd2 wiring has many antipollution devices that are not in the obd1....<p>last resort will be using obd1 wiring from a prot gt or LX....my friend successfully swapped a bpt with bp26 ecu in a protege GT so i would imagine this would possible....<p>any suggestions????<p>this is why i need the wiring diagrams from the shop manual for the ecu for the 94+ mx3!

I think Corksport has an upgrade for the computer to run the bpt but him not sure look in there site.<p>P.S. On va etre beaucoup de gtx cet ete moi aussi je suis entrain dans installer un dans mon pro lx et y'en a deux a quebec que je sais. Une couple dans mon coin a montreal.

well I know of a few guys who have them....certainly 1 in quebec who happens to be my good friend<p>I've been wanting to do that swap for over 2 years now...I called JF therien 2 years ago when he swapped his bpt!

i have a 93 RS soch and i swaped in the BPT GTX
and i just received my bp26 ECU

is it a direct pluging because i have obd1

i had a 96RS so i just got all the wiring out of a 93RS. Sorta a hassle but it works

ok so i wont have to do nothing to my wiring just plug and go

i installed the ECU today and the car runs great
its smoother and my idll is at arround 850 it was at 1100 with my stock ECU
