JUst curious, what paint code might that colour be? You don't see many mx-3's that colour.

Re: Cracks in bumpers- fixable or F'd?

These are full fledged cracks- probably from a bump or two. I know where I can get some Junk yard bumpers but I gotta say taking them off seems like a pile of work. Does the welding work very well I wonder? I will bring it around to some shops and get their view.

Re: What shocks for softer ride?

I had an RS before and it did ride abit better. I know the GS was meant to be a bit sporty, but like some guys who want to push the performance limit on a relatively tame car, I want to see if it can have a bit more forgiving ride because I love the shape and size and the economical performance.
I ...

Re: Water inside clear rear lights-what's the fix?

How did you get the lenses off without breaking them? I didn't do the swap so I notice that the 'altezza' lights seem to have a press-in type mounting method where the OEM lights have threaded metal posts. Would you mind explaining how they mount? From the look of it there must be nuts and washers ...

Re: What shocks for softer ride?

Mine are 195 65 15. Michelin x something. They don't rub but they do whine and transmit surface breaks right through the car. On smooth surfaces it is very sweet but on older roads with potholes or railroad tracks I have to slow down to a crawl or I would need to visit the dentist.
You can't have it ...

Re: [wtb]mx3 in canada

Three weeks ago I found a 93 GS SE in Edmonton for 2200.00 with less than 200,000 km. It was a sweet deal but the guy wanted to sell to someone in Alberta for some reason. I bought one in Peterborough for 1600.00 not including air fare and hotels but it did a 2000km roadtrip without a hiccup. The ...

Re: Spyder Halo Projector Headlights for Your Mx3! Coming Soon..

Can we get some estimates? Like when this might become available- 2008? March 2009? Are they for wide distribution or for a limited group buy. If it is a large scale production then there should be some kind of timeline. I just want better night visibility, they look fine -whatever. Performance is ...

Cracks in bumpers- fixable or F'd?

The bumpers have some cracks in them, can they be repaired somehow or do they have to be replaced? Looks like it took a low speed bump on the front right corner and the area around the license plate is all spider webbed with cracks.
What is the price of a good scrap yard bumper I wonder.

Water inside clear rear lights-what's the fix?

I noticed the rear signal lights were fogged up with condensation, then I noticed that the lenses were about a 1/4 full of water. What's the deal? Do I have cause to return the lights? The other one is fine and seems to be well sealed.
Anyone had this problem. I don't know what brand they are, they ...

Re: What shocks for softer ride?

Good point. The car came with good snow tires on the front and some slightly used rear tires that are lower profile performance tires. What I want to use it for is longer driving trips. Like a touring car. I have to buy a new set of tires, it has the stock SE rims- 15". Any suggestions for ...
