Re: Mazda 323 AWD rear subframe swap
I probably could go AWD because the tranny the 323 uses is a regular G25M-R with a bolt-on transfer case. The only thing is this: lots of horsepower + hard launches + AWD traction = broken gears. I would be perfectly happy just to have my back tires smoke and be able to hang the tail out sometimes.

Re: millenia supercharger on 2.5?
The supercharger used on the 2.3L Miller cycle Millenias are not typical superchargers, like centrifugal or lobed-vane superchargers. The 2.3L uses a Lysholm compressor, which unlike the 2 forementioned types, produces true positive-displacement boost. Other superchargers simply "blow" air...

Re: I can't find the EGR valve on my 92 rs help!
The EGR valve is going to be located near your intake manifold, probably in the middle of that mess of vacuum lines. It's going to have 3 vacuum lines going to it, and is basically going to look like your typical vacuum-actuated diaphragm valve. If you look at the vacuum hose routing sticker on the ...

Re: My Homemade Intake...
Exactly...to correct that problem, you might just turn the intake opening under your car around backwards. That'll kinda defeat the "ram-air" gimmick, but any kind of "boost" you make from that wouldn't make it past the air filter anyway.

Mazda 323 AWD rear subframe swap
I own a 94 MX-3 and have been studying the 323 AWD rear subframe and suspension setup, and I may be crazy, but after comparing the 2 rear crossmembers, I think the 323 AWD rear subframe will BOLT UP STOCK to my MX-3 chassis. All the transverse, lateral and trailing links are the same, and the rear c...

Re: should i have bought this???
Yeah, that's right. The purpose of the alum. flywheel is to decrease the weight of the flywheel, thereby decreasing rotational drag on the crankshaft. This will make the engine rev faster, as well as drop revs faster because the alum. flywheel doesn't have as much rotational inertia to keep the revs...
