Revving over 7K a bad thing?
On accident I have reved over 7K and hit 8 at least twice now. I have let off the gas right away and pushed the clutch in immediatly but is that going to do a lot of damage? I never mean to do it. Once it was out of my control and the other time I was screwing around in the snow and the revs just sk...

Re: Where should i buy a KLZE??
I got mine from streetimports.com They are expensive but really good. If you can find one on e-bay.com they will match the selling price of that. I got mine for $960 cause one on e-bay sold for that!!

Re: Exhaust recommendations
I have KLZE with a stock exhaust and a reactive rear section on. I want to get rid of the cat and get larger piping but everyone has liked the exhaust, sound and looks! Thats my two cents

Re: KLZE VRIS connections
No, I left the EGR out of the picture. I was thinking these might be the connections for those but when the engine was installed we make it look like the EGR was normal and in working condidion. hehe

Lazzie, could I send you a pic of my engine bay with the two connections shown and you might be able to tell me what they are?

KLZE VRIS connections
I am fairly confident that the two wires in the picture are for VRIS. But where to connect them on the KLZE? There were only 2 plugs for VRIS with this motor, and 4 on the K8. Could this be the problem with my weird idle bouncing from 900RPM to 16RPM? Also, shop manual for ZE online anywhere? If any...

KLZE shop manual
Does anyone know were I can find an online shop manual for a KLZE or 2.5L millenia? I have two electrical connections that arent connected and think it may be related to my bad idel problems. I do beleive they are for the VRIS, I will hopefully take a picture later and post it.
Thanks

Re: new mx on cardomain
Nice intake, but did you know that when designing an intake for a car there are physics that do into the design. They don’t just whip together some PVC and call it a day. I might rethink your PVC design and get a real one. Otherwise, welcome to the board and keep tuning your mx-3.

Performance Throttle cabe?
Get this, I swap in my ZE, and 5 months later the throttle cable freezes on me. No big deal, its 10 years old. 2 weeks after its fixed by mazda the damn thing freezes again. Is there a performance cable that I could buy for my car? I dont want to have to fix it all the time.
Thanks

Re: ZE is giveing code 17
While Mazda had the car and my dad was paying for repairs I thought they could fix the TPS. They said the TPS was unable to be adjusted and didn’t do anything. I don’t have a voltmeter and nowhere to work in my car in the winter. I normally just work outside but it's freezing out. I need to get this...

ZE is giveing code 17
I took my mx-3 in to have the throttle cable replaced cause it was stuck. Anyways with my $70 US diagnostic fee I had them check a weird idle. It would be fine upon first start, but when it begins to warm up the idle bounces between 900-1700 RPM until fully warmed up. Mazda said that it only threw c...

New Throttle cable
Rather then mess around with my old cable I am just going to replace the old one. I have a '93 GS with a '94 ZE in it. Any suggestions for a cable?
