thanks for the replies,
so a 225/50/15 is the widest.
Is anyone running this size as I don't want to risk any fender contact?

Re: Unused electrical connector?
does it look like it was plugged in before you did the swap - like are the terminals clean or dirty? I've got one and my car is non a/c - is it that?

Widest Tire on 15" rims
I've looked at a whole load of posts and I still can figure out what is the widest tyre that fits without fouling to a standard 15" GS rim?
Is it 205, 215 or 225?
thanks

Re: Rear Engine Mount!
I reluctantly have to agree it's either take the engine and transmission out OR just loosen off the top engine mount and the tranmission mount. That worked fine - way too much effort for something which should just come out easy though!
thanks

Rear Engine Mount!
How do you get this one off - I loosened the centre through bolt but their is no clearance to take it out. Next idea take off the 2 bolts which hold the mount housing to the transmision case - again no clearance to get the bolts out. Finally tries jacking the engine/ transmission up and down to see ...

Re: 2.5 Engine Swap
depens what 2.5 you've got - my KLZE runs great with a K8 ecu + 2.5 a-spec VAF, if you have a KLDE you'll need the 2,5 ecu and VAF as well
good luck

Re: Sway Bar and Control Arm Bushings
thanks - so I guess a worn bushing will have bits of rubber hanging from it or I'll see a gap where the bolt or bar goes through?

Sway Bar and Control Arm Bushings
I have the clunk that everybody seems to get once their cars get old - I would appreciate any advice on changing the bushings in the control arms and sway bar as the Chilton's manual & the on-line manual seem to say just about the whole front end has to come off - is this true? I've already take...

Re: couple of problem after ze swap..need answer asap
I'm no guru but I can remember one post from David Coleman where he installed the same clutch as you and he had to make up a rod to put in the clutch release arm where it hits the clutch hydaulic piston to fix exactly the same problem you have - it worked really well and cost only a couple of $'s. Y...
