Old Pics of my MX-3 KLZE
The car was a 93, true KLZE with essentially every mod available at the time. Had ran low 14s at 98 many times with terrible 60 ft times. I sold it years ago. Just doing a little reminiscing. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj728/022-1.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj72...

Re: WITH THE CAR PROPERLY SET UP DID WELL IN THE QUARTER
Thats a real great time man. Especially without a CAI. I know these cars will do mid to high 13's on sticky tires. Its all about the launch. I ran a 15.0 at 98. Trap speed is there but my 60 ft time was a 2.8. I think with a 2.0 60 ft time id run a 14.0 at 100 mph.

No offense man, but i think those decals are hideous. Would look alot better without them. Also blue neons=HUGE ticket if a cop sees em. Even if they are inside the car.

Re: Couple nice pics
I believe they wetsand the entire car with very fine sandpaper, to remove any orange peel in the clear. Then they polish it to a shine. But i dont do this for a living, that is just my understanding of the process.

Re: Couple nice pics
I polished the headlights using some plastic polish called Plast-X i think, and a mothers powerball mini. Believe it or not the paints never been buffed. As a matter of fact ive only washed it twice since its been painted. The body shop owes me a wetsand and buff so im going to leave it to the pros....

Couple nice pics
I thought these pictures came out pretty nice. I dont know anything about photography but i think these look good enough for a magazine. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj728/030.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj728/029.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj7...

Getting ready for summer
So my cars been sitting since November and i got her cleaned up yesterday. The body shop still owes me a wetsand and buff so the paint isnt quite as good as it will be once done. Excuse the ty-raps holding my intake and the wire coming out of my rear bumper. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/j...

Re: My Car
Yeah i think i noticed a difference with the ram air. It just pulls in the coolest air possible too. On a cool night after getting home from a spirited drive the pipe is ice cold. I wish i had a wideband or something because i would probably gain more power if i could adjust the fuel for the cooler ...

Re: My Car
The ram air gasket is a secret prototype ive been developing for a long time. Haha just kidding. I used a 3 inch port, like used in subwoofer boxes(im a car audio guru). I cut the hole in the bumper, heated the port and molded it to take the curves in the bumper. Slapped some epoxy on it and stuck i...

Re: Daily drivers / beaters / winter / project vehicles
Sold the 95 Tahoe and got an 05 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4. It only has 3200 miles. Never titled, owned by GM and driven by some GM Exec. or something. 100,000 mile warranty is nice. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj728/053.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/johnjj728/054.jpg http:...

Re: My Car
Thanks for the compliment man. No altezzas, clears, or anything like that for me. Not my style. Maybe candied taillights but thats it. Your car must be a beast with a turbo and klze. I imagine 1st and 2nd gear are useless?
