I tried the 91-96 escort springs and they didn't fit so i am going with the protege springs...escort coilovers should be fine.

I know Corksport sells it for the RS...something tells me it is just the same as the GS intake though?

As far as Custom setup or swap goes it comes down to personal preference really. If you had your car for a while and know how it is driven and know the shape its in and its history then by all means go with custom if you are comfotable with doing so. Sorry for the confusion Ryan but i was very unhappy about buying springs i couldn't use. After researching and cross refrencing part numbers for coilovers and (for example escort/mx-3/protege ground controls are the same) i thought the same might apply to the escort springs but they didn't even come...
