What the heck are you guys talking about? Without "hearing" the noise, there is no way for you to diagnose anything. Is the noise coming from the cylinder head or further down (block)? The most common noise that is associated with many B, K series Mazda engines is lifter noise. Lifters wil...

You can use different bolts to replace the upper bolt on the strut or you can turn the strut mount 180 deg. Have the car align...

You can adjust the clutch pedal height and freeplay. This will effect the clutches release point. The online shop manual should have the diagram for you to look up. It's a very easy process.

Sounds like a good idea. This has been brought up in the past and it didn't work out for the majority of Mx-3 owners. Most of us seem to be on the east coast, so picking the location would be a good start. Kentucky works for me. :)

so what cars can i pull the g series trans out of? or are they the ones you mentioned? Yes. Your search was fine and that's exactly what it takes. You do not need the hubs to swap transaxles though (that info is wrong). Make sure you have the mount brackets for the G series transaxle, flywheel, clu...

Use the search function.

There are no good lightweight flywheels for the BP's. Use the stock BP flywheel from a 90-94 Protege LX (dohc), Mecury Tracer, or Ford Escort GT (91-96). The N/A flywheels are lighter than GTX flywheels.

It may or may NOT be the synchros. Either way, the trans needs to be taken apart and inspected for bearing and gear wear.

They don't fit. The Mx-3 and Mx-6 do not share similar chassis parts like the 323 and 1st gen Protege do.

I believe you need to change pulleys. The SOHC 4 uses a v-belt pulley and if I'm not mistaken, the v-6 uses a ribbed belt.
