FROM EXPERIANCE

the MX-6 springs DO NOT FIT mx-3 struts.

I got the eibach prokit and they gave me mx-6 springs, they do not line up...they are a tad larger in diameter and don't fit the lower mount properly on the mx-3 strut. As for the probe, not sure if they are the same or not.

IF you get mx-6 struts, then you can fit mx-6 springs BUT i'm not sure if mx-6 struts fit very well.

They don't fit. The Mx-3 and Mx-6 do not share similar chassis parts like the 323 and 1st gen Protege do.

to be truthfull the Mx-6 93-97 front struts and springs will bolt up to the MX-3 suspension but it will rise the front end up..

the reason why i say this is cuase for about 6months about 1 1/2 ago i ran with mx-6 struts and springs because my mx-3 struts took a shyt..

so i said hell why not try it out and swap them out what do u know they fit..

but the back end struts will not bolt up... u probly can if u modify it but i just think its not worth the effort..

but using a mx-6 strut and mx-3 spring will not work and vise versa..

mx3autozam is rite don't cheap out on suspension man.

thats why i have left my suspension stock untill i have the funds to get a set of custom coil overs made or i make the k-sport coil over from the mx-6 to fit on the mx-3.. which i know it can be done..

Do you actually know what people do to make the mx6 k sports work. I know the mounts are totally diferent on the rear struts for mx6/probe. Do the people just drill out another hole for the 3rd bolt or what.
