Meehh...just do the starter bump method, pretty much never fails....that is unless you have the ratchet set to tighten instead, or if you forget to pul the plugs and the motor catches....just ask my father in law what happens

Another long day of sanding....this time I'm down to 2000 grit, and almost finished. Only have the fenders and half of the hood to go, then it'll be ready to wash, re-mask and shot with primer....hopefully tomarrow though.

Re: bp or klze swap?
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!! This is awesome, I've started the engine wars again...but seriously though, there should be a matchup at the 1320 of a stock BP-T v/s a stock KLZE, with a video too.....that'd be worth watching. Oh yeah, and I still agree that torque is more important than HP...and wheel spin ...

Re: bp or klze swap?
Hmmmm....well now, let's see. KLZE=199 HP v/s BP-T=210 HP....Plus as stated earlier, if yours is a B6, then best bet is to go with the BP-T swap, but if you currently have the K8 V6, then it'd be much easier to go with the KLZE swap....but anything's possible, just depends how much you're willing to...

Re: Muttpower's 1992 MX3 GS

Tomarrow I'll be repairing a few dings in the sheet metal, and doing some fine sanding on the rest to get her ready for the base coat... http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z49/tweetypie02/Accident023-...

Re: Tips for Blowing a K8? LOL
In all seriousness though, just running it hard wont destroy it, as I've tried the same to my K8 motor for a few years now. I ended up going through 2 clutches and a tranny and the motor still runs strong....that's why I just gave up and talked my wife into letting me do the swap anyways( she origin...

Re: Vecia's 1994 MX-3
Just so you guys can get a visual of the black and red theme, I put this together on Photoshop. Might put some vinyl under the black in black to contrast the red but we'll see after it gets painted. Still aways away for that. http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx37/vecia666/mx3_2.jpg Nice....kinda ...
