I constantly lose belts.
We put them in, and they'll be ok for usually most of the day. Soon enough they'll start squealing, and a few days/weeks later I'll lose it. So far as we can tell it's going in right. It looks as though it's getting burned up or something but every time we check everything seems to be turning pretty...

Re: My air conditioner isnt working and it's 100 degrees out
I took it to advanced auto parts and an old work friend (from a different job) checked it out. The gauges were saying that it had a lot of pressure, and that it couldnt really take any more freon. Yet, the clutch still isnt kicking in. Any more suggestions?

My air conditioner isnt working and it's 100 degrees out.

I made a video that came out pretty terrible trying to explain what's up. What do you suggest? I dont want to bri...

replacing motor mounts, where to buy?
I started hearing this very situational grinding noise and its looking like it may be being caused by the motor mounts. Its for a 95 automatic mx-3. The stores I've been to can't seem to get the transmission mount, and the other individual mounts seem kind if expensive as well. I'm in Connecticut. A...

95 automatic mx-3, grinding/whistling noise
I initially posted this in the suspension forum but a user there has pointed me this way, which now has be seriously concerned, cause transmission is a lot more expensive than anything suspension related (I think). The gist of it is, that after I hit 30 mph, a loud grinding noise starts up ONLY when...

Re: How to diagnose suspension/brakes
The fluid looks almost pink/purple...or very bright red. I dont THINK it smells burned...I'm scared now because my girlfriend just spent a grand on her transmission, but hers was grinding all the time non stop. I'm driving in a way that almost eliminates this noise and and i might take it to a shop ...
