Ya, I plan on putting the KL with the Mazda Transaxle in a 914. I was planning on 400hp.

I used aluminum 6082 and had them cut with a water jet. I think I should test them thoroughly before I consider making more of them.

I chose the KL engine because of the split block style bottom end, much stronger and stiffer than traditional caps or girdles like the VG30 (Nissan 300Z). I have a KLZE which I've stripped down to the block and had a machinist check everything. Now the 5spd transaxle it came with was out of a MX-3 with the K8. Does anyone know if these transaxles are the same. If not would I be better off sourcing a different transaxle? Any suggestions would be apprec...

Ok, so you don't want the KLZE intake. I think your looking for maybe the KLDE or K8 intake? I'm getting a turbo made for may ZE and I need shorter simpler routing than the stock manifold and hopefully a fly by wire throttle.
