Re: intake

Well... I have one... but it is a spectre hackjob custom, that I feel is way to large in diameter for the motor. Looking for something in the neighborhood of 2.25 to 2.5 inches as opposed to a 3 inch.

Re: Replacing the waterpump

GASP! You called 'it' a Neon! If your mx-3 is causing you so much problems, get rid of it, hell I am sure somebody would be more than glad to spend the two to three hours of time with Ryan's exact instructions and fix your problem, drop a KLZE, turbo-charge that bad boy and blow that ridiculous look...

Re: Header info

Though the search feature on this forum is alittle OCD, it can be learned. This information is on the forum. put it in the search like this +probe +header then select 4-cyl. Technical/Performance on where it needs to search in. then hit search. Be amazed and tell your friends. It is better for me to...

Re: temp gauge help

it needs to be from a 92-93. I had this problem and tried using a 94. Wouldn't work. Find a 92-93, swap your speedometer from your old cluster into the new one to keep your mileage and try it then. (Make sure the cluster you get has the cable connector in the back, the electronic style will not work...

Re: Z3 Fender Inserts...

I was thinking about using them as hood inserts instead because they are actually a decent size. Well... the fenders were already damaged for they have dents in the corner where it rounds into the bumper so I guess I now have a reason to get some newish ones.

Z3 Fender Inserts...

After buying a pair of them off of ebay... I was thinking... "Hey! These would look pretty good on the car. I'll actually cut into my fender and install them" End result: Looks like poo... inserts are rather pointless, more cosmetic appeal at best. You'll go through about 6 dremel cutting ...

Re: Bad MPG. 95 B6 DOHC...

You could also have a vacuum leak. How does your intake hose look? On my wife's 95 we had to replace the TPS as well as the IAC along with the injectors (opted to just replace them all if one was going out). Try switching gas brands too... for some reason Exxon in North Carolina sucks in my mx3s.
