I was kinda surprised to see another MX-3 out racing let alone 2! I was in the White BP-swapped RS. Where the others anyone on here?

Re: Diagnose my car problem....again.

If it gets really cold where you are it's probably a good idea to cover up a portion of your rad with cardboard anyways.... even after you change the T-stat.

Re: Replacing fuel filter

Yeah, just remove the battery and intake snorkel and you should be able to wiggle your way in there. Be careful not to tear the gas lines!

+1 for the BPDE swap first then turbo later. Easy and cheap first step.

Re: Need some help hooking up fuel lines for BP

The fuel injectors don;t have hoses going to them, let alone two little hoses. I think you may be referring to the two solenoids (VICS AND PRC) near the passenger side of the intake manifold? On has a white connector and the other an brown/orange/pinkish connector. Yes/no? Hose diagram http://mx-3.c...

Re: [WTB] junk g series tranny

Sorry, I don't. I'm going to the pick-n-pull today and will returning the tranny, but if I get a chance I will try to open it up and see if I can find what it is you need.

Also, to clarify, my G-series is from a 4 banger while bshop's is from a v6. The internals are supposed to be the same however.

Re: [WTB] junk g series tranny

I have one sitting in my garage waiting to go back to the pick-n-pull. What do you need exactly? If it's easy enough, I can pull it out before returning the unit. I'm in Red Deer.

Re: let's band together and make a REAL BP swap guide (no BS)!

Looks like I answered my own question... The single wire (black/brown wire in a plastic sheath) that goes to the small brass temp sensor next to the exhaust manifold is not the correct wire for some reason (although it was on the B6). I took this wire off and replaced it with the other shorter singl...
