Charcoal Canister [[Edited with picture]]
Does anyone know what the hose on the bottom of the charcoal canister does? Or where it goes? Someone has cut the hose off on mine for some reason.

Re: Vaccum leak?
I am having the same problem. Except with mine I am afraid it might be more than the idle need set. So im going to buy a alternator (Sure wouldn't hurt) and put that on see if it makes it any better.

No tranny replaced, but now to the Idle issue.
At the moment I have been having the same issue as many other people has, when I have the AC on and sometimes with the AC off the car will idle down in reverse and stall, sometimes when the car is in park and give it gas it'll idle low and then stall it seems its getting worse now, it does it in dri...

Re: Hold light FIXED -- NO TRANNY REQUIRED
Think so? Why would Mazda make it like that? The Hold button works either way with the fuse in or out, even the light comes on. Take out your seat belt fuse and see if it flashes hold when you get above 30 mph. I have to get the idle fixed before I can get the seat belts fixed because its a 2 hour d...

Re: Hold light FIXED -- NO TRANNY REQUIRED
Yes, Mazda had a recall on the seat belts for the 1992 models, I called the Mazda dealer and they said that Mazda is still liable for fixing my seatbelts.

Hold light FIXED -- NO TRANNY REQUIRED
I have recently had the issue where the hold light flashes after you get above 30 mph, today I was looking at the fuses and thought I would put the seat belt fuse in to see if the passenger side worked, it did the drivers side is broken so that is why the fuse is out, I then forgot about having the ...

Re: Scared Teenager -- First car -- PLEASE HELP
Mudflap, there isn't any type of changed in my RPM's the only time the RPM's go up is when I give it gas no other time, I can also push the hold button and it'll stay solid but it doesn't change anything.

http://i33.tinypic.com/fxxjyv.jpg There is the cruise control, it has places for 3 hoses, one which is there and runs from the cruise to the fuel injector, and 2 others that doesn't have anything. If it is the transmission I suppose ill cross that bridge when it wont go into reverse or drive. I cou...

Re: Scared Teenager -- First car -- PLEASE HELP
OK I have just got more information that the hold light had been flashing for 3 months that the previous owner knew of, like I have said in my earlier posts, the tranny does not slip, it shifts fine, I have no problem in changing gears, and I have no problem in climbing inclines. And the hold light ...

Re: Scared Teenager -- First car -- PLEASE HELP
The engine is a 4 clyinder 1.6L 1992 Mazda MX-3. Yes, there is cruise control settings left of the steering wheel. So why do you think the transmission is shot? It shifts good, it doesnt slip, nor does it have any hesitation in going to reverse. I'm really not sure on this since there isn't any sign...
