On the crank cog, there is a notch with yellow paint on it, which i believe is TDC. With the cams both aligned on the timing marks, should the crank be on the notch or 1 tooth off? Cause when I put the timing belt on, I put it where all the notches are ligned up. Just wondering if I need to redo the...

does anyone know if a de clutch will work with a k8 pressure plate? there is like 3/8 difference in the clutch diameter. thanks guys

quick clutch and pressure plate question
hey all, i pulled out my clutch and it needs to be replaced, i was just wondering if a de clutch will work with a k8 pressure plate. i know they are just a little larger than the k8 clutch. any help is greatly appreciated.

well the motor has like 160 k on it. but i have only put about 30k of it on there. I got the car about 3 years ago, and have had nothing but problems out of it. i checked the tensioner and the adjuster, the adjuster is fine, which i thought would make the tensioner work. (???) The pulleys dont really roll very freely. Maybe they are worn out? Should they be kind of stiff to roll???

Does anyone know if the DE radiators are the same as the K8? My radiator has a pretty decent size hole in it, and there are absolutely no mx-3's around my parts... probes, and 626, are all over the place. Haven't had a chance to make it to the junkyard. The rear brakes don't engage when you press the pedal??? :shrug: mine were doing this, and the slider had locked up and wore down the pad on the backside of the rotor. O'reilly has caliper's for like 69.00 but they dont have the bracket, or pads with them. So you have to use the bracket off the old....
