i got it from Toronto JDM or Total Jdm..whichever you want to say..go to www.torontojdm.com whole list of motors. i got a bp-ze from them last year that will soon be for sale. man this sucks..i just wanted a nice k8 to throw back into it and get er going. now i gotta make the KF work on the 1.8 ever...

thanks again!, the tranny was my biggest worry. as long as that bolts up, i can figure the rest out, i will deff. start looking for a KF ecu, im sure tjdm has them.

fairly certain its a straight neck, i will post pics after the weekend. thanks., this will get the ball rolling on the swap, and as far as you know, i wont have to butcher any wire harnesses? it will plug and play after i switch everything over.

wow, its been a really long time..but for anyone who cares, i ended up taking it to the scrap yard. i was tearing up drive axles like no tomorrow, and it was just never the same. I put the motor into a new one, that blew about 2 months later doing 120 down the highway..that was fun. got a JDM BP fro...

i ended up gettin and parts car for 200 bucks..it is actually driving now..we pilled frame..and welded a new shock/strut tower..rewired everything under the hood..and sadly back to stock headlights...pics soon guys...oh ya...any one ever notice that once you total a car its just never the same again?

hey guys..i was just switching some stuff from my new JDM BP and my old BP and i was wondering about the timing...we cant figure out how to realign it..we have marks on the 2 cam gears and the belt so we know where they go...but we cant figure out if we have the belt in the proper place on cam shaft...

so upon taking apart the motor i found that the cylinder walls were pretty blue..seems like there are some play in the pistons..and cylinder head was pretty uneven..i cooked it..the good news it im going tomorrow to pick up a new BP from Total JDM just outside toronto..about 60 000K on it..$427 Buck...

still have the BP..i know its been a while since this post..but mine went earlier in the week..

ya..brothers comming over tomorrow with compression tester and timing gun and so on..but now im thinking..get another bp and just do a turbo build over winter..something new..but not over the top..dont want to pour to muchmore into it...for refrence there are pics in apperance forum..phantomgray mx-...
