Re: fix it or chuck it?
Same similar thing happend to me as well, I wound up somehow ripping part of a corner off, so strange. Wound up drilling out a couple holes and using industrial tie-wraps proped it kinda back in the same place. No more catching on my suspension while turning.

Re: m3 mirrors opinions
If its any consolation after the jokes... a buddy of mine bought a set very similar to these for his 03 Corolla S. He had them paint matched and only really 2 complaints, the mirror doesn't reflect the 'objects in mirror...' properly it looks off, like the mirror is flat and isn't supposed to be. Be...

Re: Replacing seats--substitutes?
Not too sure if the MX-6 seats will fit, you'd have to compare the mounting brackets to the floor and dimensions and mounting points? I thought I read somewhere that seats out of the Ford Escort would fit? But the seating position might be too high, as the MX-3 seats probably have a lower seating po...

Re: So Who Has Mx-3's That Aren't On The Road?
Mines also off the road right now, debating on if I'm going to make it road worthy again? Needs brakes front & rear, and wound up with a rusted leaking brake line in the rear that I never got around to fixing, and a sticky EGR valve which almost failed the last E-Test because of it. Body is star...

Re: da da da....Another one bites the dust
Oh crappy buzz man, I know its probably to late or might fall on deaf ears but you can always complain to city council about the situation? Probably the same result as complaining about a pot-hole that bends a rim, they put up a rough road sign right beside the hole as you drive over it... and go fi...

It is totally possible that this can happen, but it is not to common, it would be a good idea as stated above to email the or just get some new springs. I guess these are not as strong as the OEM springs? Or I just have some mfg defect in mine, anything is possible. The Mechanic orginally thought t...

Apex Spring Problem
Wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I put a set of Apex (yellow) lowering springs in with Monroe Sensatrack struts in about 3years ago, which I put on about 16 000kms on them. I'm driving around on day and started hearing a clunking when making turns left or right, and noticed the car sat a ...
