I sometime wonder what the hell they are selling at Canadian Tire!? The parts counter people more than half the time don't have any idea of what you need or what your asking for. LOL Sometimes you can get the same alternator or similar with hight output from another car in the same line up. I wonder...

I had replaced both front wheel bearings and ball joints and one drivershaft (they were worn anyway) and still had a similar noice to one your describing. As it turns out the tensioner was going bad more of a squeeking noise kinda went away after the engine warmed up.

All 3 are different, as I replaced all 3 of mine about 2yrs ago. Does your cooling fan turn on? My orginal problem was my temp gage didn't work, and I didn't have my fan turn on, but lucky never had the car over heat I drove it mostly in cold weather in Canada. 8)

I has a similar problem with my 93 turned out the Mass Air Flow sensor was going bad, thing was pretty expensive too! Do you get any CEL codes?
