aww so u are telling me i cant even do 4 psi with the stock ecu? megasquirt is a must? aw i just sold it LOL :(

Yeah You will still need a set of KLDE or KLZE (2.5L) injectors while boosting on a K8 even if you are not boosting over 10 ... I would reccomend a 190lph High flow fuel pump as well at the least..

my setup is similar to andys with the fuel management unit, but atm im only running 5 psi.
i am using a .48a/r exhaust t03 turbs off a saab 9000 i believe which spools about 3000rpm.

i tried to read the write ups on vris and mae some sense of it but its a bit out of my league sounds like its almost an airbank you draw on til you reach your next powerband. Do you just have vris #2 open ? i can understand why u have done it as the valves close off at 6500rpm. you probly benefit ...

Yes I am using the stock ecu. stock 02 sensors. I'm still using the VAF.
stock fpr,stock fuel pump,stock IAT,
I went with 1 step colder plugs, At first I gapped them to .035" but beyond 6-7psi I would get spark blowout. they have worked great since regapping them to .031-.032". I have run nothing ...

got the 220cc injectors today for about 115 us dollars. getting them flow tested cleaned and reringed for about 105 us. ordered a vortech rising rate fmu as well. have u still got the stock ecu on 10 psi andy?

is this right? sorry im a bit of a novice, but i think im right
i just bought an afpr. this is the same as a fmu right but just has a wider range of pressures ratios they can operate at say between 4:1-12:1 where a fmu 8:1 for exampleis eseential afpr that cant be adjusted

220 cc are enough for 6-7 Psi. on the 1.8 L k8.
220 cc will support a little over 200 hp on our motor.

if in doubt, use one of these sites to do some calculating.

i also need help with what waldbro 255lph you use is it pump GSS 341 or GSS 342 and what kit no# is it 400-730 or 400-866.
