hey everybody. dose it matter what model protege (LX,DX...) and year i take the tranny out of??? i know i have to find a dohc 4 cyl. can i also use flywheel, engine comp.,peddle assem, basicly everything needed to do the swap.<BR>thanks for anyones help..

thanks for the info.. one more thing tho.. the car im getting the tranny from is a 93 sohc. and my car is a 94 dohc. would that make a difference. thanks

can u swap a '93 5-speed transmission in to a '94 automatic?? and vice versa?? i heard the '93 and '94 engines are different. is this true?? i need help--PLEASE!!

i was thinking of changing my mx3 to a 5 speed. its a 94, 4 cyl. what kind of car can i get a tranny from that will fit. i heard that i might be able to swap with different cars?? if anyone can i am greatful. thanks
