Thanks for the responses guys. Very helpful. I read in a couple places that I might have an issue with the vris using the atx harness. Does anyone know if this is true? Also should I stick with the atx ecu or use my mtx one. Hoping to get started on this tomorrow.

It is most likely your axle. When it is going it usually makes a crunching noise when turning sharply. It usually will only do it when turning one direction(sometimes both left and right though). I just read up on how to clear codes and have 1 question that someone can hopefully help with.
Step 2 of clearing codes says "ground test connector with jumper wire...."

Idle problem started recently with idle occasionally dropping to a point just above stalling. Also hesitation while accelerating.
