Bad clutch pedal

Ok, during my swap I had to mess up with the clutch slave. I tried to bleed the slave later and all it did is give me some clutch back, but not enough to lift the clutch from the flywheel. So I tried to bleed it once again... and again... and again... Nothing worked. I had another mx-3 for parts, an...

MechaManZero : Are you changing the wire harness for the Protegé one too? I did the same thing with my 94 RS. You need a 92-93 cluster with the mechanical speed cable. Find somewhere to put it through, the hole is already in your firewall, next to your brake master, it has a plastic cover over it. Y...

Best to use with your BP?? Depend of the use you'll be making out of your car. BP trannies have shorter gearing, and you'll be running 4000rpms at 120 kph. B6 trannies can hold the power of your car very well, alot of my friends are running this setup since 2+ years. I'd say use your stock tranny if...

The speedo cable can split in 2 parts. I do not suggest this, but if you pull hard on one end of the cable, don't be afraid you broke something. And this can be your problem too.

I would definitely check the connection at the rear of your cluster.

I've seen broken clusters real often too.

Looks like your power supply to your radio/clock system (they are on the same fuse) is erratic. Is your car rusted? If yes, you might have some wires stripped from their protection and touching the body of the car, which is the negative reference. Did you change your radio unit or played with some w...

It would fit.

You would have to find the wiring harness, axles, tranny, all mounts from a V6 powered az-3.

I might forget some items, but it gives you an idea. In Canada it's a pretty common swap.

This is strange. That's the engine code found on my 1600cc engine head :S

Maybe its time to think about a 1.5/1.6 hybrid :P

B5-ZE engine (1500cc)

I have a 1.5 liter engine in my mx-3. I need to know the ECU code.

Right now I'm running it 1.8 DOHC and the ECU dumps way to much fuel at higher rpms.

So if anyone could tell me the code on their ECU. Thx!!

B551-2

Hope this helps.

You can see it by yourself on the head of the engine.

It's on the right side of the head when you stand in front of your car, behind the exhaust shield.

B6 distributor to BP

Ok, now I'd like to know if a B6 (94 1.6DOHC) distributor would fit a 91 BP DOHC. I only want to know if it will bolt up, and work. I know the wiring is different, I'm taking care of that part. I only want to know if it will bolt up. Thanks.
