change the plugs again. go cheap. if car run great and fades in a few days like before i bet you plugs are fouling. this would also explain why the prevous plugs were hotter. hotter plugs do not foul as easly. if you notise a white or shiney residue than you are burning oil. flat black would be fuel...

that is a rather vauge statement. dyno or 1/4 mile numbers would help determine if you are underpowerd.
the stock setup is not very peppy.

adt tps, check compresson & do all needed work.

how many miles are on you car?
auto or manual?

i supose n/a using the lowest octain you can is fine. the safety of running 110+ fuel with boost or nos is a concideration. when my fuel solinoid failed and i had 100 hp of nos with no fuel the 110 kept me out of detination. another concideration is if you gas station gets a bad lot butying 93 is sa...

all I got was the engine turning over at the speed it normally does and seemingly no spark or fuel. We looked at all fuses, they're fine. The fuel pump comes on so it should be getting fuel. ok have you tected for spark & injector pulse? fuel pressure is harder to accuratly test for but an easy ...

Re: 96 mx3 with 1.8- stock. Strange behavior, need help

This is my first post and it concerns a problem that is, at least for me, difficult to describe and find the cause of. I bought a stock 1996 mx3 , 1.8l 5-speed for my son in July this year and until two weeks ago it ran great. Then, when on a short errand, the engine lost power and the rpms started...

if you are sayin the rpms cut out and engine dies. than yes you need a distrubtor or the hei mod.
if the engine dies and the tach drops slowly as engine stops spinning than it is fuel / engine managment related.

brake pedal pulsation is not hydrolic. i has to be 1 or more of the rotors are warped or are not mounted on a flat hud surface. also lug nut tourqe must be even if you used an impact than loosen all lugs and retourqe them with the cars weight off of the wheels. to find the suspected rotor spinn each...

no the only heater part is in the centre behind the radio the box in the middle is the evaporator housing for the ac and the last box contains the blower motor. if you remove the ac box you will have no blower. you could install an empty ac box and shave 4-5lbs from the car. but there are a lot easy...
