I have a similar problem. I wandered if it was worn engine mounts causing the engine and tranny to be off set and binding the cv's.

I found the problem. The stupidest of things to overlook. plug wires were faulty. I bought another set. Apparently while I was tring to install the cone filter, I first took the box out and didn't plug the maf back in (yet another stupid mistake) and i thought that I did something wrong with intalli...

got another question that has prolly been answered in these forums but I couldn't find it. Has anyone had there stock mx-3 (k8 i think) block taken to a machine shop (or done it them selves) and bored the cylinders out? If so, what to? Any hp gain out of it? etc...

Thanks, you were right. It wasnt the plugs. but in checking them out, I understood my symptom better. Seems the power loss thing happens only after the engine reaches operating temp. I'll seach the forums for answers.

I believe its a k8. The only numbers ive found were on my throttle body. Im pretty sure the car is stock mx-3 gs v6.

Im curious as to what you are doing with the prop rod when you close your hood. Are you leaving the factory air intake thing on there or fabricating a different thing to clip to or just letting the prop rod dangle.
