Take the panel off, by unscrewing one screw on the outside of panel, and by handle.
Remove the plastic around the window motor track.
The window motor track will have 3 bolts holding it on the door. Manual will have an additional 3 bolts holding the door handle part.
Before taking it out, move the side window down so you can see both the screws that hold the side window on the track.
Unscrew the two screws, and take the side window out.
If powered, you'll also unplug the window motor from harness.
Then you can unbolt and take out the window motor regulator
So the trick is to lower the window.
Unscrew the bolts,
take out the glass.
Remove the motor
Put new motor in
Put glass back in ?
Yes, when you take the track out in the junkers, you cant move the window up and down, so you cant align the screws to the holes to stick a screwdriver in to unscrew the two that hold the side window. That's what makes it hard at the junkers, but easy at home when it's pluged in and powered.
Did you test the motor before install? Just hook the two wires up to the battery(power and ground). One way rolls the window up, there other way, rolls it down. If the motor works, could be the track. Maybe the cable is stuck.
Yes, there are 2 screws holding the glass to the motor device.
Unscrew them, push out the bumpers at the bottem of the glass and you can lift the window out.
