Re: I am thinking of Nitrous.

Building a nitrous kit should be no problem. I ran a 100-shot WET on my KLZE MX-3 for some time. The motors can handle it fine. All you will need is a fuel pump on anything over a 50-shot. No FPR is needed, and just run the stock Ford Probe GT spark plugs those are good for over a 100-shot of nitrou...

Re: ECU Question

Yeah the K8 harness is compatible, but you will need to re-use your K8 crank sensor, The clip on the KL crank sensor is different from the K8 harness.

Re: Stalling - Lightweight flywheel problem?

Yeah like the description says it could be something like a greasy fingerprint that you accidentally put on the clutch disk or flywheel when installing it. I would look into the motor mounts ASAP, the front motor mount is a breeze with the motor in the car. The rear is gonna be the pain in the a--, ...

Re: Stalling - Lightweight flywheel problem?

Having a aftermarket race clutch will have a affect on what your talking about and make the engagement very "jumpy" or rough. **Copied off a website** Clutch Chatter is A high coefficient of friction, bad motor mounts, an incorrectly machined flywheel or faulty pressure plate, spring-cente...

Re: Stalling - Lightweight flywheel problem?

Sounds to me like you might be reffering to CLUTCH CHATTER! And why would you not press the gas to take off from a stop at idle???????? Also what RPM is your car sitting at idle?? You said bring the RPM up to 800 RPMs and its fine, I believe a stock KL should sit at about 750-800 RPM at idle...

Re: [FS] (CA) Custom Altered KL Headers

Sorry for the delay, my MX-3 account doesn't send me email notifications when i get replies, even though i have it set that way. :crying: There is no fitment issues with my set, unmodified the flange would hit the oil pan, and the back header i believe hit the steering rack, which in turn would not ...
