If you can fabricate, you might be able to stay within that budget. I've seen a V8 rwd in a metro, chevettes, and more... also helped start on a twin-engine Swift. They are very time consuming projects and take a lot of money even if you do it yourself. Much more than you set out thinking it will co...

FS: 93 MX3 RS+Escort Parts car+BP engine+ACT clutch+more
My wife and I are going to be moving to a house as you probably saw in an old post and with school and trying to work I don't have the money to continue with the project. I'm going to sell the MX3 and parts off and pick up another cheap Swift GT that a friend of mine is offering me. I need to grab o...

Handling differences...
Not really inspired by other recent posts, although along the same lines. Just wondering what sort of suspension differences there are between an MX3 and say an MX6. The one guy said the GS handles better... is that just a feeling of the little weight difference or...? I like the feel of the base RS...

Like I said, I didn't think it was a terribly classy thing to post up 'I will build you blablabla' in the first place. I made a suggestion to grind the welds on Marlons, not JWs. For $650 and 10 people, I think it would be a nice addition. I know some of the most technical, anal, and experienced guy...

ya i know it's gonna be hard but i've posted this on 7 different sites i think the price is fair, how many companys are willing to make a manifold for us for a engine that dosn't even come stock in our cars thats a small market Well, there are companies out there that love to build projects. I got ...

Hi Rick, sorry my speed reading skills sucked as I completely missed this post until I came back to check something in this section and noticed there had been a reply.
PM or email me kyle_jones@hotmail.com I don't want a whole lot for the partscort... I may think of changing car plans here though.

That price is a tad high if you ask me. I could do them for you cheaper. I'd use 316 Stainless Steel Runners w/ a mild steel head flange. Did that price include ceramic coating? Let me know if your interested. We can fabricate any style you like for the B6 SOHC or DOHC and BP DOHC (we can beat most...

Well post results and dynos when it's done. I'm not sure I see the logic to it, as you can pick up mitsu 14bs for pretty cheap that will spool much earlier and provide 300hp. Even a $100 difference in turbo choice would be well worth it in the end. The exhaust side A/R of 1.00 on the series 5 turbos...

When your car is in a really bad accident and you bend the frame as severely as it sounds, it is actually generally a good thing to simply let the car go from a materials and structural stand-point. You've now changed the properties of the metal through work hardening/plastic deformation, and pullin...

illegal, yes... fun, yes... instant torque and sliding sideways while moving was fun but more useless than actually accelerating. I had a hatch cover in my old car and I am not the prime candidate for being searched for drugs and such, so it worked out ok for me when I had it. Turbos/nitrous are not...
