Re: 10 dollar fart can...

Hahahah...personally I think it's not as cool as you'd think. IF You need a new muffler, and it's quieter than your old one, then sure, why not. IF your getting alllll the piping done, than sure, you can always change it later. NOW, if your old muffler is in fine, shape, and all your muffler tubing ...

Re: Balljoint Replacement

nope your fine, let her rip! You might need a ball joint puller (looks like a big two pronged fork, like 5 bucks). The only difficult part was getting them off.. MAKE SURE YOU JACK UP BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR! 1) it isn't safe and 2) it twists the frame of the car, makes it difficult to line thigns up....

Re: Winter tires

Mmm, I haven't actaully used winter tires yet, but I just put on a pair of Bridgestone Potenza's, and they stick VERY good for all seasons. I live in saskatoon, so we get a few big dumps of snow every year.

Blizzaks are the best i hear for winter tires..

Re: good speakers

I currently have a set of Alpine type X speakers, component set They are VERY good quality. The bass isn't HUGE, but it's better than stock. Remember that those little 6.5's are meant to play mid bass, and I beleive that to have a truly balanced system you have to have tweeters, midrange, and subwoo...

Re: oh oh.....funny knocking sound..

HAHAH

yes...i like that.

If its a tapping i don't think it's a tensionner. Check your oil.

Make sure nothing is tapping on your hood (happened to me...)
Or anything is loose.

Also, can you hear it if you stick your ear in your exhaust pipe?
