yeah, the old one was all gunked up and looked like it had been through the 3rd world war. I do know that my seals are bad in the engine, not too sure if that would have anything to do with the gas mileage or not. Either way I am doing an engine swap this summer, so it doesn't matter.

I have my stock 92 GS rims for sale from my MX-3, asking $400 o.b.o for them, two new tires, two about 60-70% tires. make me an offer. Don't know how much these usually sell for.

92 MX-3 GS 1.8L V6, on the intake accordian looking piece, right after the MAF sensor, there is a tube hooked into it, that just dead ends. looks kind of like a j shaped plastic thing. What is it? Do I need that if I make my own intake? help, trying to learn about these engines.

got it fixed. it was a HUGE crack in the intake tube. Can't believe I missed that, but it runs fine now. Thank you again to all who replied.
