Re: FOR SALE ; OBX BRAND NEW HEADERS, KLZE KL31 HEADS
I will stand up for pat. I just bought some obx headers from him. They do need a little modification to get them to fit. But not that much. They are very nice headers, and for the price, doing a little work to get them to fit is worth it!

turn signal driving lights
I saw a picture of one of the users on this forum. He had made the front turn signal into a driving light, which looked really cool. I was wondering if anyone else knew about that, and if so how to do it. Thanks

Oil coolers
I was wondering if any of you guys are useing oil coolers? I just installed some SSautochrome headers, and to get them to fit I had to bend and grind them so I would clear the oil pan. Even then I'm still pretty close to the oil pan. And needless to say your headers get fairly hot. So I was wonderin...

Re: ssautochrome headers??
The headers themselves bolted up perfect. But you still had to grind the flanges and bend the y-pipe a little to make it clear the shift linkages, and oil pan. Yeah, i've driven around now with the egr blocked, and everything seems to be fine, no codes or check engine light. I haven't gotten the cat...

Re: headers install?
Installing the headers isn't hard at all. I have no clue what you he means by the hardest part is getting the headers into the space. That wasn't a problem for me at all. I just installed ssautochrome headers today. The hardest part is the egr line. But I just made a blockoff plate and plugged the l...

Re: ssautochrome headers??
You for got one thing though. I got mine for $170, thats with shipping. Plus, the headers I bought, were from that same guy that is the seller of that auction. I just installed them today. But I haven't got the exhaust moved back yet. So i'm running straight headers until the exhaust shop opens on m...

Re: ssautochrome headers??
e-mail me if you want me to hook you up with the guy who sold them to me for $170 shipped. They look awsome... i'm installing them on my k8 this weekend. But hit me up if you want them. The biggest problem i've seen, is that the egr bung is on the wrong side. Is it possible to plug that whole, and t...
