Idle question.....
Ok, I usually have a really bad idle problem. It usually pulsates between 1000 and 500 RPM. Sometimes stalls out. I usually run my air all the time. I mean the temps down here rarely go below 85. Now, the temps outside are cooler now about 78 and I am not using the air as much. The idle is now much ...

Re: Exhaust improvement.
So, what needs to be done to get a proper merge done?
Where does it need to go and what calculations need to be made?
Can it be used with a turbo setup?

Re: VJ14 HY-Bred
I know someone posted earlier what the turbo might be from, but Josh, where did the turbo you used come from. What car, if you don't mind my asking.
Thanks

Hey Marsh !!
Just a suggestion, but I'm betting a lot of people here might just be interested in a CF Cargo cover. I know I would..

Compression ratio for turbos
Ok, I was thinking about turboing my 94 RS. Does anyone know if the CR on this car needs to be lowered for the turbo, and if so, how? Is it better for the compression to be lower or would a slightly higher ratio be better? I also heard that it would be a good idea to have titanium valves installed f...

Re: your tint...
Also, when you get pulled over at night with the dark tint, or it helps without tint also. Turn on your interior light too. The cops usually appreciate it and at the very least sometimes give you a lower ticket if any at all. I do work for a ticket attorney, this is what they recommended to me. :wel...

Re: cams ?
Core Charge: Money they charge you for not sending them your old cams. They send you new cam shafts and expect yours in return. It's almost like a discount for the old parts. They take the old parts recondition them and regrind or whatever they are going to do with them and resell them to the next c...

Re: Ticking Engine... NEED TIPS
I thought I read somewhere that we could use the solid lifters from the Miata that eliminate the noise.
I'll look around and see if I can find and post it here.

Re: Need help with Water Pump
1.6? 4 cylinder? Mine is a 94, the alternator is the tensioner for that belt. The water pump pulley has a groove for the alt belt. I had some trouble with the alt belt fitting too tight before and I removed the water pump pulley to get the belt on. If he did this and did not tighten all the bolts, t...

Re: How to start my car ?
What it sounds like you are refering to as the "key on the display" sounds like your car has some sort of key transponder system, or your key had a security chip in it. If that is the case, your key is ong to be exensive. I don't recall any MX-3s having this security system though. Can you...

I think it makes the car look somewhat like a Civic.
But, just my opinion.

Re: 1.6 DOHC Headers
The Probe header is for the 1.6 DOHC inline 4, not the 1.8 which should be a v6.

Re: Engine make over
Two questions on the headers. Did you use the down pipe that came with the headers? Did it bolt up to the rest of the exhaust? My headers are on the way, so any help will be greatly appreciated. I also heard rumors that other people that did this mod had leaks in the exhaust. Let me know what happen...
