Re: Having troubles with thermostat housing leak. help please :)
ok so I think I am being misunderstood.. the leak is coming from where the pipe connects to the water outlet ( some people call it the thermostat housing) not where the housing goes over the thermostat. here are some pics to try and help explain. basically I just want to know either A. how do I get ...

Having troubles with thermostat housing leak. help please :)
Ok so my 93' GS has been leaking coolant. I traced the leak to the thermostat area. I noticed the coolant is leaking from where the metal coolant hose connects to the housing. I figured I would just buy a new thermostat housing and be done with it. but the new housing does not include that pipe. so ...

Re: clutch problem maybe pressure plate? please help :)
ok so if I were to have a leak somewhere.. wouldn't my brake fluid be empty? because the both use the same reservoir don't they? so come to think of it.. before I attempted to bleed my clutch I topped of the fluid to the max line (actually a tad above) but it was never that low. so If they both use ...

Re: clutch problem maybe pressure plate? please help :)
Thanks for the info.. I'm actually making progress to finding the problem now. As for my mechanic, if anything I missunderstood him..he may have said something else. But I know that he has definately saved me alot of money in the past and is very trustworthy. So update* I attempted to bleed the line...

clutch problem maybe pressure plate? please help :)
so I was driving down the road when a ball joint broke which thrashed my front driver side axle. I had the car taken to my mechanic and he replaced both parts. when I came to pick it up he had mentioned that he had to refill the clutch fluid and that I might need to pump it before I drive it. so I d...

Very very good communication, I knew when the money had been received, when the item was shipped, and it even arrived a day earlier than expected. and my harmonic balancer is now installed and functioning properly. Thanks!

Re: major battery? problem.. please help
amazing thank you! now that I think about it thats most likely my problem.. let me explain what I was doing a tad better.. I know it sounded somewhat confusing. one set of cables. and only my car. on one end the positive it connected to the loop on the left of the motor and the other to the negative...

Re: battery light
if I am not mistaken its a one belt system. which isn't fun too change and since its connected to everything it automatically overheats when disconnected. belts are cheap and can be bought at just about any auto parts store for around $15 tops. now for an alternator I recommend looking on this site ...

major battery? problem.. please help
ok so my car is dead. I have a 93' GS. I started it right up fine at first. then I was testing a few things and unplugged my pcv valve. The car then died so I plugged it back in. After that the car wouldn't start, it wouldn't even turn on. no dash lights, no fan, nothing. even when turning the key I...

unlpugged pcv valve when running car died and now dead help!
this problem has been solved. Bad ground wire connection.. thanks for the help :) out of curiousity I unplugged my pcv valve to see if it made a difference (I wasn't sure if it was working or not) and it was because when I unplugged it the car died. when going to turn it back on I got absolutely not...
