One of the round locking parts any advice on how to run the throttle cable can I just ziptie my cable on for now very amusing I really don't want to rip the intake off

No, just the TB, and if you're lucky, maybe not even that. If you post pictures we can have a better idea what to help with.

I have the straight neck installed... its pretty cramped its at school so I cant take pictures :(

LOL The throttle linkage comes with the body for the k8 and they want a grand for it from mazda hahaha

Until OP clarifies it sounds like just broke the end of the cable - lost the throttle cable barrel. If I have guessed correctly you only need to add a barrel stop to the throttle cable. You can get screw throttle cable barrels that are typically used to shorten throttle cables. Search web or try a few auto part stores.

straight neck ze with k8 throttle assembly shave the part the barrel connects to

I've never really looked at the interference before....

But you know that pully rotates, right? :lol: I don't understand why or how you shaved it...

You shuold just be able to pop the pully off, its a single... 12mm? nut, with lockwashers. No need to remove IM or TB at all. Im pretty sure you can fit a crecent wrench over it.

honestly you need to go to school and take some pics so we can see this and truly help you with what needs done.. or heck draw on a piece of paper something haha
