Measuring ABS sensor

Post by WhiteFinish »

Who knows if I can measure an ABS sensor when it's off the car ?

Is there a way to check if the sensor is still good?

The only thing you can do is a resistance check. I don't know the specs, but its not a full proof way to tell you if its still good or not. There is no full proof way to check with the sensor off the car.

There's a resistance range iirc around 1.5kohms. Possibly in workshop manual. Can't remember value but if they're all the same you will know they're fine. Have you pulled abs codes? I made a how to on ukmx3 years ago for that.
