[WTB] 4 Cyl Manual Transmission
Along with everything else needed for a ATX->MTX swap. Figured I'd start here to see if anyone had any parts laying around before I started pricing out.
Thanks much.

I have a transmission, pulled working. Also can pull the rest of the components for you as I have a donor car. my for sale thread has the transmission, I can grab the rest though

Re: [WTB] 4 Cyl Manual Transmission
I was just in New Market, TN for like a month too! lol
So 75 for the tranny and how much would you charge for the rest of the bits? I'm sure shipping will be a couple hundred dollars yeah?

Shipping would be expensive, you want to make a trip up here? only about 6 hr drive. it would save you money on shipping. I'll have to make a list in my head of everything you'd need, but off the top of my head, for all the parts, prolly around 200?

Well right now the cars out of commission. I'd have to borrow mom's car if I did that... So I guess I'll have a word with her to see if that's a possibility.

Re: [WTB] 4 Cyl Manual Transmission
Well I have been researching and off the top of my head this is what I got.
Tranny
Clutch
Flywheel
Shift Linkage
Shifter
ECM/Harness
Pedal Assembly
Cylinders and Line
Not sure if I need axles or not? I'll see what I can find on that

Speedo cable maybe too. Not sure about that one either, I doubt I need the axles I'm still trying to look that up. My main computer is having fits right now so I'm having to slap stuff together just to get online now. >.<
Once Friday comes and I get my schedule I'll figure out when I can come up there to pick everything up. Might be this weekend though, would that be okay?

Once Friday comes around I'll see what I can do about getting one of those days off. I can't even begin to express how much I appreciate this too...my poor mx has been sitting there for years waiting for this.

It's fine, I have the axles too by the way, and they're almost new. I had replaced both of them on my car in the last couple years, plus I have the halfshaft so you might need all that.

Ok so I got my schedule and I work all next week. Boss said I can have whatever day I need off to get this done though so what's best for you?

Re: [WTB] 4 Cyl Manual Transmission
I only have thursday and friday. Honestly I didn't get to disassemble anything. Even worse, the missus and I do wedding planning at 6pm so I have to say I'm not available then. Here's my suggestion: get here late wednesday, I get off work at 10pm, so if you showed up at 11pm or something that'd be fine. Then crash in my guest room, we'll wake up, disassemble the clutch assembly (transmission is already out and ready to go, just the clutch pedal and lines and such need to go) and you drive home thursday afternoon. That'll lessen the fatigue of you driving round trip so long. 12 hours on the road back and forth is brutal, much easier to break it up through the day.

Re: [WTB] 4 Cyl Manual Transmission
As much as I'd love to do it like that I'm having to borrow a car just to make it up there so it's gonna have to be a same day affair. How's the week after look for you? I certainly don't mind helping you take stuff apart though. I'm prolly gonna have to do it so I leave here around 5 or 6 and make it there a little before lunch time.
