Post by cWs306 »

Need a curved neck TB for the curved neck IM. JDM or USDM it doesn't matter. both the KL47 and KL68 are identical. I had both.

I dunno if this pertains to anything here but I took the IAC off the ze TB I had and used it on my K8's when it went bad just to get me by untill I could do my swap and the car ran fine so most of the parts are idinical no matter what spec. J or A it should work. I'm with NE4SPDSE on this one you should get it from the same type intake you have.

You don't usually have a choice, a straight neck one doesn't fit, a K8 one does but well, that's really restrictive for the 2.5

sorry guys, im new to this swap. idunno exactly what makes these not work, wheres the IAC? is that the plug on the side of the TB? or is it on the bottom of it? if so the KL02 i found wouldnt work? cause it would hit the fuel/cooling lines? im so confused. heres a picture on the IM/TB...

The IAC is the lower part of the TB, it's got the electrical connection to it

No, the K8 TB will not bore out to KL spec

This is a curved beck IM, you need the TB off of one of those, DE or ZE, they'r the same.
