[GI] 92 GS Project

Gauging Interest:

1992 MX-3 GS parts car. 1.8 V6 has blown head gasket and is removed. 5 speed tranny removed. Car is gutted and stripped. All original stock parts in my posession will be included. All replacement parts in my posession will be included. All aftermarket parts in my posession will be included. Ideally I'd like to find a buyer to take it all for a set amount. I know many of you would suggest a part out, but I just don't have the time. I'll list and post pics of as much as I can, and will be adding and updating as often as possible. Everything is located in Central Pennsylvania. Hoping to get enough so I can get something else that I can get on the road right away. I just need a means of transport at this point, so this is kinda my desperate attempt to see if and what I would be able to get for this ongoing project. Would love to finish it, but what I want and what I need right now are two different things. PM me any questions regarding buying as a whole. updated a few things, hoping for 1,200 for everything, enough to get something that I can get on the road right away.
again just gauging interest, seeing if it's even worth that much to anyone, of course to me it is worth more than 1,200, only because I know what I paid for the parts, alot of them were never installed, have no miles on them, and are like new except for the fact they have been setting in my garage for an extended amount of time.

why may I ask do you suggest this may be a scam, I just need wheels dude. between school and work I don't have the time or money to finish this project atm. you can believe what you want, but a scam it is not.

It was just a word of caution dude. To me it's a red flag when somebody refuses to part out new items, and seems to be taking a great loss as a result of the sale. Often when things seem too good to be true, they are. There've been at least one too many scams against members of this site.

I have no idea whether it is or not. Wish I had the cash for it. Good luck with the sale.

I understand your concern. Gauging interest is exactly that, gauging interest. I am not trying to scam anyone I would just like to see what members of the board think this collection of parts may be worth. Again I know what I paid for the items, but that does not mean that it is what someone is willing to pay for them. As with anything there is the depreciation value. You buy a brand new car off the show room floor. As soon as the paperwork is signed and that car is considered sold, it drops in value. Same goes for parts. I may say they are brand new except for the fact they have been sitting in my garage. If I offer a clutch kit for $120, because that is what I paid for it and to me, it is in brand new condition. That same clutch kit sells for exactly that - $120 on ebay but, where would you rather buy the clutch kit from? Me because you are taking my word for it that it is brand new, or from ebay where you know it better be brand new or you have a sure fire means of getting a refund of your money. I'll give anyone interested my home phone number, my cell phone number, address of where I go to school, etc.(within reason I dont need prank calls, or someone just trying to find where this stuff is located so they can break into my garage and steal what they want, I understand ya'll need to protect yourself from getting ripped off, in the same sense I need too as well) I don't even need Paypal, come pick it up in person, pay in person. If your seriously interested in buying this as a whole contact me we can arrange something so the buyer can come see in person what they are getting, exchange phone numbers, etc. etc.

That's not bad at all for a V6 with all the goodies.. I'd easily have paid you that much but too late now.. I'm BP swapping and that's my goal.

But seriously good luck with the sale.. I know there isn't many MX'ers in PA on here but hopefully something pulls through.
