GS 5 spoke weight??

anybody know how much they weight?

I just put some 16' wheel that are 22lbs and it seem like I loss a big amount of power...

and is there a big difference in weight between tire?( in same size, different model or brand). think those could be a bit heavy too maybe...

i happen to weigh these like 2 days ago, they're 13 lbs ^_^

f---... thats why its such a big difference...

if only i had known they where only 13lbs I prob wouldnt have shop for some other wheel.

25lbs is soooooooo light. Most Miata setups I look at are about 30.

that's why I love the 5 spokes :love: lightweight and best looking OEM rim for the mx-3 IMO.

yeah.. prob gonna paint my GS wheel black and try to sell my other rims to buy some good tire to put on the 15 inch or if anybody know of a place online I could buy some lightweight 16" for cheap let me know lol

my 16" rota subzeros are 14.5 lbs a piece.
The slipstreams are even lighter.

Tires for our cars are typically 18 - 22 lbs. So if you got 13 lb rims and total at 25 lbs, then your tires are 12 lbs? Must be some thin rubber...

I think you are right... I'll verify again tonight - I weighed them and now that I think about it it might have been 30 lbs combined :oops: sorry for this misinformation ppl!

My Enkei RSF-2 17" are 18lbs, I think that's pretty good considering their size 8)

the stock gs rims are freekin light when i switched to cheap bsa 17'' rims i felt such a loss in power

Im currently looking at a set of 15x8 Sport Max rim.. 0 offset..

do you think it would stick out too much? and does anybody ever had something the same size/offset on a mx-3?

I know I could get something like 20 offset so it would fit better but I have a great deal on those because the store allready have these in stock for somebody and the guy end up not buying them.. the dealer would give me a good deal cause he know he's gonna have a hard time selling this kind of wheel.
