GS 5 spoke weight??
anybody know how much they weight?
I just put some 16' wheel that are 22lbs and it seem like I loss a big amount of power...
and is there a big difference in weight between tire?( in same size, different model or brand). think those could be a bit heavy too maybe...

25lbs is soooooooo light. Most Miata setups I look at are about 30.

Re: GS 5 spoke weight??
that's why I love the 5 spokes lightweight and best looking OEM rim for the mx-3 IMO.

Re: GS 5 spoke weight??
Tires for our cars are typically 18 - 22 lbs. So if you got 13 lb rims and total at 25 lbs, then your tires are 12 lbs? Must be some thin rubber...

Re: GS 5 spoke weight??
I think you are right... I'll verify again tonight - I weighed them and now that I think about it it might have been 30 lbs combined sorry for this misinformation ppl!Whisper wrote:Tires for our cars are typically 18 - 22 lbs. My Enkei RSF-2 17" are 18lbs, I think that's pretty good considering their size

Re: GS 5 spoke weight??
Im currently looking at a set of 15x8 Sport Max rim.. 0 offset..
do you think it would stick out too much? and does anybody ever had something the same size/offset on a mx-3?
I know I could get something like 20 offset so it would fit better but I have a great deal on those because the store allready have these in stock for somebody and the guy end up not buying them.. the dealer would give me a good deal cause he know he's gonna have a hard time selling this kind of wheel.
