I Have code 5, which I have no idea what it is, and I have code 15. What is the deal?posting.php?mode=post&f=15#

5 - knock sensor
15 - oxygen sensor

don't take this the wrong way.. do you know where to look up the codes in this site?

its only ouch if the knock sensor is doing its job. if the knock sensor has just failed then it just means a new knock sensor and thats that. but either way its a sucky job to do.

Could you explain the location of the knock sensor and where to find the codes on this site? It was not code 15, but 16, which I know is the EGR. My bad. I would greatly appreciate it.

Look straight down from the top of your engine into the deepest depths right in the middle of your intake. What I was wondering is if your running high test gas who cares about the knock sensor. Doesn't matter how much octane you're running, a knock sensor code will make the ECU retard the timing as a failsafe, so it'll run badly (I would know).
