Brothers New Mx-3 1993 GS SE Lots of pic's

So we seen an add on craigs list for a purple(Raspberry Metallic) 1993 Mx-3. At first i thought there was no way it was an SE but the Raspberry Metallic only came on the SE. They where only asking $500 for it with a slipping auto trans. So we go and look at it and this is what we found.























One of the cleanest 1993 mx-3's i have seen around here and it's an SE. my bro was happy to pay them $500,so now we are up to 4 mx-3's for $2000. The people had no idea what they had. The k8 is running good the trans just slips like crazy. The other wheel is in the trunk has a nail in the tire i have to take it to work and fix it. O well worked out goot for my brother. Now all thats left to do is the auto to manual swap and get this thing on the road.

Let me tell you, you got a realy nice one there. I brought mind for $800 bucks but I had to rebuild the hole top end of the motor and re paint it and buy all the new decals. As for the Tranmission I would keep a auto just get it rebuild for 600 bucks and it will be brand new. Easy Fix

The paint is scuffed on the lip and clear is coming of the front bumper. Thats an easy fix my buddy is a painter he did my front bumper and hood for $80 all i payed was cost of supplys. Intern i do work on his 1992 gs also B6 swaped for free he pays for parts neither of us pay labor to each other. The auto to manual swap is already under way we had the shifter,trans,axles,starter,clutch,flywheel all mounts. all we needed was the peadal assembily,master cylinder,line and slave cyl. we have spent $100 on the rest of these and its ready to go. The auto to manual is not hard nor is the v6 to 4 cyl or 4cy to v6 if you know the parts differances and have accses to a good salvage yard. We had all the parts laying around fron the k8 that was in my 1993 GS that i swaped to an B6 out of my rs. He dosent want auto anyway. We bought the car with the intention of swapping it to manual knowing that we had perty much all the parts.

Yeah, with the paint scuff, it's too much work. I'll take it off his hands for $600. Save him the grief.

Wow! You got a very good deal... and you are right... they had no idea they could get more for that,... even with a busted auto tranny. I got my 93 RS with a busted auto for $1200! Bummer!
Anyways, nice find man, and those seats, and the back ones look great!

Yeah he wont be riceing it at all i told him that he would have to report to me if that happend. He wouldent like that. Besides he agrees that they look fine just the way they come from the factory.

Yeah i could not beleve that they did not know anything about the rareity of the car.

That's an amazing deal man. I got my SE for $1750 and up here that's a huge deal. With a good tranny I could sell that car of yours for $4000+ up here in a week.

yeah but for 600 you could easily swap to a 5spd! the swap alone would shave a good second off your 1/4 and improve gas mileage by 3-5.
