My OEM "pre-muffler" (the one under the center console) has a big hole in it.
Should I get the muffler shop to remove it and straight pipe it or should it be replaced with something?
Stock RS, Flowmaster 2-chamber at the tip. (that may be going too)
what to do with hole in muffler under center console?

i dunno if this is legal but it would be a temperary solution: cut it off then take some flex pipe and some clamps. or be like my brother and make an entire exhaust outta flex pipe.

Ditto what umcamara said. I personally like having the resonator in-line. You can use a Cherry-Bomb(r) type muffler for a resonator.umcamara wrote:Replace the damaged resonator with an aftermarket resonator. It will sound like pooh if you don't, very raspy.
