okay, I swaped the atx to mtx(yikes, what a job)

anyway, now the hold button flashes on the dash, how do I trick the cpu in the car into not doing that? kinda distracting I think!

You haven't still got the TCU connected have you?

...my hold light is the same way since doing the trans swap. It has been this way for years, guess I just got used to it :lol:

I guess if all else fails just take the light out of the dash and it won't flash anymore :roll:

Thats all I did. If you remove the TCU, your cruise control may no longer function (it might not anyway depending). TCU = Transmission Control Module. Its mounted directly behind the ashtray under the stereo dins. Small gray metal box.

Wierd? mine doesn't flash, hasn't since the tranny was swapped, lol! it probably burnt out from all the flashing it did while the auto was still there! :D

Are you still running the K8? i was under the impression the K8 auto and manual ECU's were the same, but perhaps i'm wrong :shrug: it has been known to happen before :lol: :oops:
