okay, I swaped the atx to mtx(yikes, what a job)
anyway, now the hold button flashes on the dash, how do I trick the cpu in the car into not doing that? kinda distracting I think!

Thats all I did. If you remove the TCU, your cruise control may no longer function (it might not anyway depending). TCU = Transmission Control Module. Its mounted directly behind the ashtray under the stereo dins. Small gray metal box.I guess if all else fails just take the light out of the dash and it won't flash anymore

Wierd? mine doesn't flash, hasn't since the tranny was swapped, lol! it probably burnt out from all the flashing it did while the auto was still there!
Are you still running the K8? i was under the impression the K8 auto and manual ECU's were the same, but perhaps i'm wrong it has been known to happen before
